A conversation with AWEA’s Peter Kelley on recent EPA proposed rules and Clean Air Benefits, an AWEA white paper

By Paul Dvorak | June 16, 2014

You might think the U.S. wind industry could not be busier.  Even without the PTC, construction is booming, for this year at least. The recently proposed EPA rules may provide some of the stimulus previously delivered by the tax credit. Although that remains to be seen, what is visible it that the air is getting cleaner over the last few years, as least from fewer tons of coal burned.

For a more expansive view on these topics and others, such as financing, water use, and sulfur dioxide, we spoke with AWEA’s Peter Kelley. He is the organization’s well-informed Vice President of Public Affairs with a lot to say on the topics.
