Orion Renewable Energy Group

In the U.S. alone, over 3,300 MW of operating wind energy projects have been developed by Orion’s principals. Ownership interests in some of these projects are held by Orion Energy Group LLC (OEG), an affiliated company that also serves as operator and asset manager for those projects. Orion and OEG are both independent, privately-held companies that are owned and managed by their principals.
In addition, Michael Haas, Orion’s President, co-founded Renewable Development Company Ltd. (RDC) in the United Kingdom in 1997. RDC became an early leader in the U.K. wind industry and has developed nearly 400 MW of operating projects, including one of the first offshore wind projects in the U.K.
