Mpower Energy aims to help Chicago reach its 100% renewables goal before 2035

By Michelle Froese | April 12, 2019

MPower says it is working hard to make 100% renewables accessible to everyone, using wind, solar, and hydro power.

MPower says it is working hard to make 100% renewables accessible to everyone by offering a combination of wind, solar, and hydro to power homes.

Mpower Energy, a green energy provider in the U.S., will be bringing clean energy to the state of Illinois, by opening a new Mpower Direct office in Chicago.

The city made headlines recently when they announced that they are committed to using 100% renewable energy by 2035. Mpower Energy says it is committed to helping Chicago reach that goal long before that.

“We are so excited to be able to bring clean energy to the people of Illinois,” said Lavie Popack, CEO of Mpower Energy. “So many consumers and businesses in Chicago have been asking us to switch them to “green” energy, and now we can help them make the switch.”

The new Mpower Energy office will be located very close to the downtown area of Chicago. Operations are scheduled to commence circa fourth quarter this year.

“Our mission is to educate consumers about how they can make a difference on the environment by switching to clean energy,” said Popack. The company’s Business Spotlight reaches thousands of people on social media, and helps to brand the business as a company that cares about the environment.
