A discussion on wind analytics & digitalization with ONYX Insight

By Michelle Froese | July 24, 2019

In this WindTalk podcast, we discuss data, analytics, and digitalization with two guests from ONYX Insight: Noah Myrent, Head of Global Monitoring, and Dr Ashley Crowther, Global VP of Sales & Engineering.

ONYX Insight provides predictive maintenance, as well as monitoring services and support, so that wind operators can better optimize O&M strategies.

Noah and Ashley provide insight on condition-monitoring systems, big data, digital twins, and more. The two also mention a couple of white papers available from ONYX, including:

  • Thinking About Tomorrow, which discusses data access in wind energy to reduce operational costs
  • Standing in the Way of Control, which is about retaining full access to the wind-turbine performance data you need

ONYX Insight also presents annual technical symposiums, with the next one in Denver, CO, on September 16 to 18. Learn more here.
