The WindBridge Advantage: Upcoming webinar on easy turbine anemometer replacement

By Michelle Froese | August 28, 2015

WindBridge combines the intelligence of a specially configured device with the reliability of the VENTUS wind sensor (shown here).

WindBridge combines the intelligence of a specially configured device with the reliability of the VENTUS wind sensor (shown here).

The WindBridge is an innovative smart device configured to let newer technology sensors integrate seamlessly into an existing wind-turbine control platform — no matter the age, type, or communication characteristics of the controller or PLC.

For this device, Nor-Cal Controls partnered with Lufft, manufacturer of the VENTUS ultrasonic wind sensor, to provide a turnkey wind-sensor replacement option that’s resistant to the elements as well as time.

For more information on the WindBridge, Lufft is hosting a free webinar on Tuesday, September 1st, entitle: “WindBridge Advantage: Easy anemometer replacement for any turbine, any time.”

The audience will learn about:

  • The WindBridge features and how it works,
  • The Ventus WindBridge combination and why it’s an ideal solution for wind turbines, and
  • How to participate in the new early adopter program to test a WindBridge in your turbine fleet this winter
