Bronto Skylift, a manufacturer of truck-mounted mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), introduces its Model SI 219 HDT-C — currently the world’s tallest insulated truck-mounted aerial platform.

Bronto will show and demonstrate the Model SI at the International Construction and Utility Equipment Expo (ICUEE | Stand N2054). The show will take place October 3 to 5, 2017, in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Model SI 219 HDT-C is a telescoping insulated aerial device, rated to 765kV, and it features a whopping 219-ft (67 m) working height with 89-ft (27 m) of horizontal outreach. This includes up to 1,000 lbs (454 kg) of capacity in the spacious 7-ft platform.

When used with a 5-ft platform and standard 900-lb (408 kg) capacity material handler — which easily folds out of way when not in use — the total platform and material handler capacity increases to 1125 lbs (510 kg).

Mounted on a Tor10x6 chassis, the Model SI 219 HDT-C lets workers drive to a location and raise the boom to an exact location. The 360º continuous turntable rotation means it’s possible to precisely place the working platform almost anywhere overhead in a matter of minutes.

Bronto’s S-174 XDT aerial is mounted on a go-anywhere chassis that lets users raise the boom on location and precisely place the platform almost anywhere on the tower.

Bronto Skylift, a manufacturer of truck-mounted aerial work platforms (AWPs), will demonstrate their Model S-174 XDT truck-mounted aerial platform in Booth 701 at the National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE) UNITE 2017 Conference & Exposition later this month.

The Bronto machine is among the tallest and most versatile aerial devices ever shown at a NATE exposition. The event will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, February 27 to March 2, 2017.

Model S-174 XDT is a telescoping and articulating aerial device that features a 174-ft working height, with a 100-ft horizontal outreach and up to 1,400-lb capacity in the spacious 93 x 36″ platform. Mounted on a go-anywhere chassis, the S-174 XDT lets operators drive to a location and raise the boom — precisely placing the working platform almost anywhere on the tower.

And set-up is a breeze: a single control button activates the outriggers and leveling system, which can be positioned in less than a minute. Identical control panels are located on the platform and at the turntable control station for additional safety.

Bronto Skylift with have a variety of experts on hand at NATE to explain the benefits of Bronto aerials, including Alan Hoffman, Tom Goyer, Steve Starling, and Janne Pulkkinen. TGM Wind Services’ Kevin Darby (CEO & Owner), Ripley Clayton (CFO), and Keith Darby (Operations Manager) will also be in attendance.

TGM was recently named a distributor of Bronto products for 10 states.
