Availon North America, an Independent Service Provider to the wind power industry, is pleased to announce that Mary Lou Friedman has joined the company as the Environmental, Health & Safety Manager (EHS.) Mary Lou comes with a wealth of experience within the North American wind Industry, having spent the last five years at EDF Renewable Services where she was responsible for the management, operation and service of over 260 wind turbines in Western Iowa. Prior to this, Mary Lou Friedman was overseeing Health, Safety and Environmental issues for approximately 20 wind parks throughout the Midwestern United States. Mary Lou is Certified Paralegal, Certified First Aid/CPR Instructor, and Certified in OSHA Compliance.
In her position as EHS Manager for Availon North America Mary Lou Friedman will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining Availon’s policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal EHS regulations, and assure safety of Availon employees and customers.
